A secret

I truly wonder why it happens
Sometimes it seems so inappropriate
Almost indecent, something dirty
And yet, it drags me along

I feel lost, even alone
With it beside me
The world seems gone
Only a memory it resembles

The rain pours on my glasses
A protection from what will come
The future is nothing more
Than my past relived

I take a step back
I don't wanna do it again
Not like this

But she is already cold
Still holding me in her hands
So serene, yet so uncommon
She lays dead on the floor

For now, and forever more
My deed roams my mind
The taste of it down my throat
A treat for my hunger

I know now what I must do
For this to end
I must go back
To the first one

Nevermore I will be haunted
It ain't by my side no more
Now it is only me
Me and my hunger

A waste of good food
Such a loss for no one
One bite only I said
One more dead body in my trunk
